Real time systems

Real time systems  include  all  those  systems  that  have  a  very  small  response  time. Typically, a real time system consists of the components organised in the following manner, as shown in figure below:


The turn-around time of a real time system is very rigid. Example: Aircraft autopilot system is a good example of a real time system. The  autopilot  must  respond  to  an  emergency 

2  Differentiate between operational information and strategic  information.

Operational information

Operational Information is required for daily operations of the organisation such  as  daily  sales,  billing.  With  this  information,  we  make  sure  that particular  operational  tasks  are  fulfilled  as  planned.  On  operational  level, you need information for day-to-day things-to-do.
